Bruce Willner

Mr. Willner has over 15 years of experience developing semiconductor materials and devices. Before joining Graphene Frontiers, Mr. Willner held technical lead and management roles at Structured Materials Industries, Inc. where he led programs developing graphene fabrication by chemical vapor deposition, developing semiconductor photonic devices, integrated photonics technology, and nanoscale materials, such as zinc oxide semiconductor nanowires. Mr. Willner has previously held R&D positions at Sarnoff Corporations and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. His education focused on optics and semiconductor physics. He received B.S. and M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from Cornell University, and a M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Known internationally for his work in graphene electronics and carbon nanotube electronics. IP from his lab on DNA-carbon nanotube devices for use in an electronic nose system pursued by Adamant Technologies. An author of over 130 peer-reviewed articles, Johnson holds two issued patents, with 18 other patents submitted.
